FLV-6000 Fluotest
The new FLV-6000 Fluotest from Renful is an ideal way of examining and recording luminescent safeguards on all types of security document such as Passports, Identity Cards, Currency, Share Certificates, Bonds, Revenue Stamps and Credit Cards. By blocking all ambient lighting even the weakest luminescent features can be seen in the light tight FLV-6000. No longer is it necessary to darken a room to see a weak luminescent safeguard, just place in the FLV-6000 and view through the eye safe viewing shroud.
For Questioned Document Examiners the FLV-6000 may be also used to inspect alterations to documents. It is well known that long wave ultraviolet illumination will highlight tampering caused by chemical staining or mechanical erasures, whilst counterfeit printed watermarks will become very visible.
36 watts of long wave (365nm) illumination and 18 watts of shortwave (254nm) plus 50 watts of white light make the FLV-6000 ideal for examining the weakest of fluorescent features.
A camera mounting bracket for the Fuji Finepix S602 digital zoom camera is included with the FLV-6000 package so that images may be recorded and downloaded to a PC or laptop for inclusion into reports.
